Q: I can't see my list of Skype contacts when using the "Actions | Invite" feature. How do I fix this?

First of all, please make sure that you launch Skype before you run Yugma Skype Edition. Secondly, make sure that you select "Allow this application to use Skype" for the application called SkypeAPI4java. You can also check the current setting as seen by Skype. On a PC, for example, you go to "Tools | Options | Advanced | Manage other programs' access to Skype" and make sure that javaw.exe is "Allowed to use Skype." On a Mac, you can check this by going to "Accounts | Manage API Clients", and make sure that SkypeAPI4java is "Allowed to use Skype."

If you have followed the above instructions and you still have a problem, then you are actually experiencing a bug we have recently uncovered in Skype's java API code. We have submitted a request to Skype to fix this bug (10/25/07) and will report back to users when the bug is fixed.

In the meantime, you can still use Yugma Skype Edition and simply invite your contacts by telling them the Yugma Session ID verbally, of by copy/pasting the Session ID using your Skype chat. Note that the small button to the right of the Session ID allows you to easily copy the Session ID and the Session URL, whichever you prefer.
